Internships and Field Studies:


The American Geological institute is offering geoscience and public
policy internships for summer, fall, and spring. This internship
lasts 12-14 weeks, depending when you want to go, and includes a
stipend of $4000 to $4500, dependent upon the duration of the internship. Deadlines for applications are as follows: Summer, March
15; Fall, April 15; Spring, October 15 (I am assuming that this is an
on-going thing, so if you want to plan ahead, then next year in October would be the deadline).

Undergraduate Semester and Summer programs for an Environmental field studies course abroad. Travel to places such as Kenya, Mexico, Turks and Caicos Islands, Australia, or Costa Rica. http://www.fieldstudies.org

Post-Grad School Opportunities:


The American Geological Institute offers the 2005-2006 William L. Fisher Congressional Geoscience Fellowship to gain first-hand experience with the legislative process on Capitol Hill.
