Internship Opportunities:

The Multicultural Academic Opportunities Program offers various summer research internships and graduate scholars programs at Virginia Tech in topics such as science, agriculture, and natural resources. The application deadline for the graduate scholars program is April 1. www.maop.vt.edu

The Association for Women Geologists is looking for women for a variety of positions including looking for new caves in Mojave National Preserve and doing GIS map work in Agate Fossil Beds National Monument. Application Deadline is April 1. www.awg.org

Wild Rockies Filed Institute offers summer and semester long classes like Coast Forest and Mountains: The Olympic Peninsula and the Boundary Waters Ecosystem. Deadlines vary. www.wildrockies.org/wrfi

The AAPG/SEG is hosting a spring expo April 22-24 so that students can talk to energy industry recruiters. Application deadline: March 30. http://geology.ou.edu
